Lake Cabin

More space for family and friends! Living on a beautiful lake attracts a lot of house guests. After years of filling our home with air mattresses on the floor, a cute little cabin became available just up the street. We seized the opportunity to create a welcoming space for our guests. This renovation was massive. We completely gutted the old cabin and started from scratch. Our goal was to make the space warm and comfortable, with some modern finishes but without sacrificing the cozy feeling of a lake cabin.

Firefighter Kid’s Room

This room was originally an office space/storage area that was no longer used. The remodel was inspired by the arrival of two baby boys! The family has a long legacy of fire fighters so original helmets, firehose and gear were used for decor. The room is small, the twin beds are on casters and partially slide under the table when not in use. Creative and common sense solutions designed to make an unused room useful and adorable!

Corner Vanity

Bedroom corner with white wooden vanity table with mirror and lights

Small homes require big solutions. This corner vanity was custom designed for a small house with no space in the bathroom for hair and makeup. A corner of the bedroom was used for a new vanity. Check out the before photos to see our prototype.

Garage Project

The ultimate garage hang out! This space features a functional space to restore cars, showcase finished projects, and a fun and welcoming atmosphere where friends can gather. Highlights include cabinets for ample storage, custom work bench, and hand painted compass rose on the floor.

Laundry Room

This space was an unorganized storage area, the washer and dryer were in a nook just outside of this room. We transformed the space into a functional laundry room with orderly metal shelving and the nook that previously housed the washer and dryer is now a storage closet. Features of this project include better utilization of space, storage, hand painted signs, custom drying rack and folding table.

Europe Inspired Guest Room

This is a guest room inspired by the homeowner’s travel adventures in Europe. Stately colors, wall moldings and chair rail are reminiscent of the amazing architecture and design of European cities. Roman shade window treatments and custom lamp shade and ceiling light complete the look. Decor in the space consists of photos and treasures from their travels. The homeowners can visit this room and re-live their memories and their guests can make new memories.

Coastal Guest Bath

This guest bath was renewed and refreshed with clean, bright colors and a coastal theme. The corner shower is a great way to maximize space in a small bathroom. Glass cabinet used for storage as well as decor. Handmade art, sand and shell features complete the look.

Screen Porch

Enjoy nature without the insects! A screen porch is a great, informal way to expand your living space. These porches range from simple wet/dry area for towels, bathing suits, water toys, to comfortable entertainment space. The possibilities are endless! Creative lighting solutions, ceiling fans, quick dry/water resistant flooring, comfortable seating can change an unused porch into a cool new hangout.

Martin Lane Bathroom

This bathroom was designed for a spa-like feel. Warm colors, cozy rug, thick white towels and smooth rocks on the floor of the shower wrap you in comfort and deliver a spa-experience. Clear glass shower doors, large flush mount mirror, and minimal wall decor make the room appear larger.

Screen Porch with Bar

This space was originally a small deck that was never used, it was transformed into the perfect room for entertaining guests. With a large bar, pub table and outdoor seating, there is ample space for friends and family to gather. Removable vinyl windows and wall heater make this room usable in all seasons. Lighted overhead shelf allows display of family treasures.

Caribbean Guest Room

Welcome to the Caribbean! This themed guest room is inspired by islands. Framed antique map is the focal point, bedspread, window treatment and floral arrangement were custom made to complement the theme. Wall decor includes photos and trinkets from the homeowner’s travels, making this a favorite room to relax and reminisce.
